Objective
For this project, I was asked to develop an overview plan aimed at improving search results for a site that offers Cloud training courses, A Cloud Guru (ACG). To develop an SEO plan that was going to be successful for ACG, I needed to perform a Keyword Gap Analysis and a Top Content Analysis. ACG informed me that their main SEO competitors were PluralSight and CloudAcademy. ACG wanted to know what keywords these competitors were performing well for and where they themselves were not. They also wanted to know what type of content was driving the most traffic to their competitor’s websites. My goal was to perform a Competitive Analysis that would help uncover opportunities for improvement. I would also use this data analysis to provide SEO strategies and recommendations based on their priority level.
